We have started to provide trips for children's parties and local youth organizations paddling down the River Mersey. Three possible starting points are available.

Burnage Rugby Club to Northenden (preferred trip)
Northenden to Jackson's Boat (Sale)
Jackson's Boat Pub to Trafford Metrovik Rugby Club.
The trip is most suited to 9+ years old however with additional support from adults, younger groups will have an equally exciting time.
Each trip will last about 1 1/2 to 2 hrs and will cost from £10 per head ( with a minimum price of £100). We can organize an evening occasion or at the weekend to suit, as much notice as possible is asked so that we can accommodate your needs. You don't need to be able to swim as long as you are water confident. We can just take the children or you and friends can come along for the journey in your own boat's...it is possible to walk alongside for most of the journey if you so wanted to.

OVER THE NORTHENDEN WEIR THEY GO
( if for any reason the conditions on the river are deemed unsafe then we have the facility to move to the Bridgewater Canal in Sale - this would be following an unusually large amount of rain!)
